Your mission
  • Quickly gain industry knowledge in wholesale and commodity trading (ideally cosmetics/perfume) and apply it to daily business development activities.
  • Assist in developing new business networks and accounts in your market region.
  • Source in-demand products and develop regional trading networks with guidance.
  • Build strong and reliable supplier and client portfolios in your trading market.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth business operations.
  • Work towards becoming a business development associate with extensive market knowledge and the ability to hit targeted margins.
  • Cultivate new business relationships and network with associates worldwide.
  • Thrive under deadlines and meet KPIs.
  • Willingness to take calculated risks for career success.
Your profile
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in economics, business administration, supply chain management, international trade, or related field.
  • Excellent professional proficiency in English (office working language) is a must.
  • Bilingual proficiency in another language relevant to our markets is a bonus.
  • Around two years of experience in sales, purchase, trading, business development, or similar roles (including relevant internship experience).
  • A self-promoter who constantly strives to outperform the competition, even yourself.
  • Strong communication and time management skills to achieve strategic goals.
  • Interpersonal and negotiation skills to build strong relationships.
  • Analytical mindset with a love for numbers and figures.
  • Confident, proactive, and service-driven with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
  • Persistent and tenacious in pursuing goals.
  • Currently living in or near Zuid-Holland in the Netherlands (preferred).
