HR & Recruitment Intern

We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-driven HR & Recruitment intern to assist our team with HR-related tasks and Recruitment. The current team consists of three members, an HRBP and other two HR assistants.

As our HR & Recruitment Intern, you will learn and gain experience in various areas of talent retention, such as data analysis, benefits and compensation, performance management, and of course, talent acquisition and resource planning. 

To succeed in this role, you need to be detail-oriented and a quick learner. You shall also be equipped with excellent interpersonal skills that allows you to work within a team as well as across departments, such as the Finance department, Marketing department, etc.

This is a full-time internship, and on-site availability is preferred. You are expected to start July 2023 (earlier availability is appreciated), and this internship lasts 5-6 months.

As a team, we like you to be successful. Having said that, you will have complete onboarding training and mentorship throughout your internship. You are also encouraged to share your creative ideas, and will be supported to translate your ideas to actionable plans and/or projects that service HR vision and business strategy.
Your mission
  • Draft and post job advertisements to job boards (e.g. LinkedIn Corporate dashboard) and other social media platforms;
  • Be the point of contact with Dutch and other international schools that the HR team collaborate for (campus) recruitment and co-op programs;
  • Shortlist resumes and communicate with candidates through the entire recruitment process;
  • Organize and conduct interviews (online & in-person) with potential hires;
  • Coordinate new hire orientations (contract management, expat management, onboarding process management);
  • Work within the HR team  in various HR projects, such as secondary benefit package upgrade, salary benchmarking, annual appraisal talk, etc.;
  • Conduct market researches to expand the resource portfolio that serves better HR strategies;
  • Work in the Bfuturistic office Committee and be in charge of planning and organizing all company events to enrich the office people culture;
  • Assist in employer branding activities on social media, such as LinkedIn post;
  • Coordinate with other internal and external stakeholders to secure smooth HR operations;
  • Liaise with the Finance team in budget controlling on the HR and office related expense;
Your profile
  • An academic (HBO/WO) student in human resource management, organizational communications, business administration or related field;
  • Previous experience working in an office environment is preferred;
  • Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information System) software is advantageous;
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications;
  • Able to work  independently and a true team player;
  • Able to prioritize and multitask;
  • Confident, proactive, and observant;
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills;
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills; 
  • Hands-on with can-do attitude;
  • High proficiency  in English is a must, any other European language (such as Dutch) is a plus;
  • Working legibility in the Netherlands is preferred;
