Digital Marketing Intern

Description
We are searching for a motivated digital marketing intern who will be a part of our marketing team. To succeed in this role, you will need a hands-on approach with a learning mindset. Your tasks will include refining and updating our web shop, helping with the creative process, and staying up to date with knowledge about products, discounts, and consumer’s preferences. To succeed, you will need a pragmatic approach and a play-to-win mentality.

During your internship, you will have the chance to learn and be involved in various steps of e-commerce marketing.

This is a full-time internship located in our Rotterdam office. The selected candidate is expected to start in July 2023.

Your mission
  • Editing graphics/images for our web shop.
  • Assisting in editing, proofreading, and publishing text written by our blog-writers.
  • Having basic copy-writing skills.
  • Coordinating with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Being social media savvy (Instagram, Facebook, e.g.) and keeping up with the latest trends.
  • Having hands-on experience with Microsoft suite, Adobe creative suite, in-design, and photoshop is preferred.
  • Having knowledge and/or experience of e-commerce platforms such as Shopify
  • Having an affinity and the willingness to work with beauty products (designing ads, photographing products, etc.).
  • Creating and refining website content.
  • Working within the team to plan and execute revenue/result-driven marketing strategies.
  • Assisting in optimizing digital marketing strategies.
  • Promoting our online niche perfume store on various social media channels such as Instagram and Facebook.
Your profile
  • Currently pursuing your bachelor’s degree of e-commerce, (on-line) marketing, communications, graphic design or relevant; fresh graduates are also welcome.
  • A good planner and skilled communicator.
  • Well equipped with a commercial attitude.
  • Specialized in marketing and truly love B2C marketing.
  • Able to prioritize and multitask.
  • Quick-learner, problem solver, proactive.
  • Able to thrive in a dynamic start-up environment.
  • Good at consumer relationship management.
  • Experience in B2C marketing and/or e-commerce is a plus.
  • High proficiency in English is a must; working proficiency in any other European language (e.g. Dutch, German, French) is a plus.
  • Work hard, play harder.
  • A minimum availability of 5 months.
